City Tour ("the app", "we", "us") is a GPS-guided audio driving and walking tour app developed by Ramon Rovirosa. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information We Collect

We collect the minimum data required to provide the tour experience:

• Location (while using the app) — Your device's GPS coordinates are used only while an active tour is running, to detect when you approach a tour stop and trigger the correct audio narration. Location data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.
• Tour progress (on-device only) — We store your current stop position and completed tour history in your device's local storage (UserDefaults) so the app can restore your progress if you background or restart it. This data never leaves your device.

Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any account information.
• We do not use advertising networks or analytics SDKs.
• We do not track you across apps or websites.
• We do not access your microphone, camera, contacts, or photos.
• We do not sell or share your data with any third party.

AI-Generated Narration Disclosure

City Tour may play narration generated using artificial intelligence text-to-speech technology. The voice you hear in the app may be AI-generated and is not presented as a live or recorded human speaker.

Location Permission

The app requests "Location While Using the App" permission. This is used solely to trigger stop narration as you approach each point of interest during an active tour. You can start and browse tours without granting location access; the permission is only requested when you begin an active tour session.

Children's Privacy

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app contains no account creation, purchases, or data submission of any kind.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
